I got my sunglasses on but I don't know why It's close to midnight I look up but there's not a star in the sky And nothing feels right I been walking on down that road all alone With no destination I've been seeking that peace in my heart that comes without condemnation And I wish it would come down I need something to make me whole It's a devil of a time making deals with another man's soul It feels so sweet to be here with you It fills me with joy If we stay all day will you lead me astray Like a girl leads a boy I got to walk away from the obvious choice and deal me a new card I'm taking orders from a brand new internal voice Decisions are still hard And I wish it would come down I need something to make me whole It's a devil of a time making deals with another man's soul I got my sunglasses on but I don't know why It's close to midnight I look up but there's not a star in the sky And nothing feels right And I wish it would come down I need something to make me whole It's a devil of a time making deals with another man's soul

Stuck still in space we got no vision Nothing left but to make the big decision Lots of talking but not much thinking We'll be swimming if this boat starts sinking She's staying here She's walking out She's standing still but she's gonna scream and shout I'm trying hard but it's not going I think I'm neutral but my biases are showing Now it's time to stand and choose Don't forget what you've got to lose I'm not sure what to say or do It's almost over and it's down to me and you If you go left will I go right We have one shot to make it through the night Now it's time to stand and choose Don't forget what you've got to lose Now it's time to stand and choose Don't forget what you've got to lose

Folks outside the scientific mainstream have been asking dark questions about the LHC: Could the collider create miniature black holes that rip the planet apart in a maelstrom of destruction? Could exotic particles known as magnetic monopoles throw atomic nuclei out of whack? Could quarks recombine into "strangelets" that would turn the whole Earth into one large mass of exotic matter? Scientists say no. But, can you trust them?

I fell in love and she's quite a find But the things she says really blow my mind I love my baby and she loves me And she also loves cryptozoology She's always saying Big Foot needs more press And she won't stop talking about that thing in Loch Ness I have my doubts but she says it's on the level Just like chupacabra and the jersey devil My baby might be a little crazy The things she says can make me feel hazy Sometimes she seems quite with it But she really gets going when you're talking about the cryptids The Beast of Bray Road is a werewolf, I'm told Just like the Mothman is also Indrid Cold I'm not sure where the Ebu Gogo fit in But it makes me want to scratch my chinny chin chin My baby might be a little crazy The things she says can make me feel hazy Sometimes she seems quite with it But she really gets going when you're talking about the cryptids She loves me and I love her Though our views on the nature of reality differ It might seem weird but it was really quite sweet When she gave me plaster casts of some really big feet My baby might be a little crazy The things she says can make me feel hazy Sometimes she seems quite with it But she really gets going when you're talking about the cryptids (spoken) The Montauk Monster... didn't that turn out to be a decomposed raccoon? Oh, right, cover-up... sorry, forgot What's this? Batsquatch? Are you serious? No, no, I'm not making fun... just sounds... scary... yeah.

Float away 02:54
Morning comes got to get to work Share my bus with a foul-mouthed jerk In at 9, punch out at 5 Do my best just to stay alive All I want is to go to sleep Stay away from the other sheep Make it through another day All I want is to float away Boss man yells, there's another mess Only choice is to nod and say yes Do as he says, do as I'm told Do it all until I'm old All I want is to go to sleep Stay away from the other sheep Make it through another day All I want is to go away Float away, yeah, yeah Float away

Bathyscaphe 02:55
Floating here underneath the sea No one around but the fish and me All I wish is to be alone Here with the fish I will make my home I swim with fish in my bathyscaphe I swim with fish in my bathyscaphe I want to live underneath the sea No one here but the fish and me I want to live in my bathyscaphe

about

Predictions of Doom is an 8-track electro/synth/pop mini-album by independent musician Echo Voodoo. With sounds reminiscent of 80s artists like Depeche Mode and layered vocals similar in style to the Magnetic Fields, each track is a sub-3-minute dose of pure electronic pop, all electro-meat with no unnecessary filler.
